Spread over two sites in Norfolk and on in wales we incorporate permaculture principles, within garden design, digging, planting and learning how to grow.
Our courses are designed to foster ownership, working with the great outdoors to keep us, our community and the world, healthy.
The one day introductory course forms the foundation for entrance into the project and will familiarize participants with the workshop environment; a range of vehicles, their operating systems and components.
Working with timber, the merits of traditional woodworking practices and the use of hand tools are all covered on the 1 day course, designed as a pathway into the project.
The Life Craft project has now moved into its second phase.
Over the last 3 months we have successfully delivered three pilot courses in woodcraft, basic mechanics and permaculture to over 30 people, some of whom have now become involved in the project at a deeper level as volunteer mentors.
We have dismantled a 1998 Land Rover Discovery, demolished a 40ft Mobile Home, willow weaved 8 raised beds and dug out a 50 metre drainage ditch, as well as travelling to Wales for a team building camp on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.
